Safeguarding is an action taken to protect and prevent children and vulnerable adults from harm, ensuring they have the best outcomes. The safeguarding and protection of children (under 18 years of age) and vulnerable adults are of vital importance and are taken very seriously.

It is the duty of not only staff, but every individual to be vigilant and take proper action to protect children and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding includes safe staff recruitment procedures, risk assessment and correct teacher: child ratios and persons having valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) certificates.
